SATELLITE SUPPORT FOR ISP'S
 
This page is  being developed in an effort to help our ISP's and Resellers be able to help their customers. StarConnect wants their ISP's and Reseller community to be able to give great customer service to their end users and we are here to help. Our goal is to achieve this through good documentation and self help guides, as well as over the phone with one of our Level II and Level III technicians as needed.

Dish Installation
This link is to a generalized dish self installation guide. Because there are many actual dish configurations and brands out there, it would be very difficult to produce a manual covering all makes and models. This guide covers a basic model and it can be used as relative information for all small dishes.

PCI and USB Installation Guide
This manual runs you through the basic installation of a USB or PCI modem on Windows XP. Currently we do not have a compatible driver / VPN solution for Windows Vista. Because we do have a Vista solution with our new Ethernet based SatModem, anyone wanting to run Windows Vista will have to purchase the new modem.

F-11  Quick Users' Guide
This is a quick reference guide to setting up the new SatModem. Please make sure all firewalls are down before you begin setup.

F-11Patch Guide for Windows XP
This is an instruction manual for procedures to put a new image on the SatModem. The original Satmodems that came out in early spring are the only ones that should require this image upgrade.
